Black Rhodium Apollo Power Cable

Black Rhodium announces the launch of Apollo Power Cable.

APOLLO uses silver plated copper cores for signal flows. These are connected in opposite directions. Our listening tests have shown when connected this way the noise floor between the musical notes lowers. This gives blacker silences in the interval between musical notes and enhances reproduction of the musical edges and natural decays in music.

APOLLO power cables use high quality PTFE insulation for both internal wiring and the outer jacket for low dielectric absorption loss. PTFE is very effective as when a voltage is applied to a cable the insulation receives a small electrical charge. As the voltage reduces, the charge is released back into the conductor and in musical terms this can cause time smearing of the sound which partially distorts leading edges and decays in music. The low dielectric absorption in PTFE reduces this effect for the benefit of better sound quality.
