Sound quality is further enhanced by a large ferrite core placed close to one end. The ferrite attenuates radio frequency interference within the cable giving a clearer and more detailed sound at all audio frequencies.

The real benefit of adding the ferrite is that the uplift In sound quality from the ferrite creates far better value for users and bring out a better performance from the equipment in which it is used.
